Phyllis M Krmpotich-Ostrowski

September 9, 1934 - November 24, 2021

Phyllis M. Krmpotich-Ostrowski, 87, of Manteno, passed away peacefully at her home on Wednesday, November 24, 2021. She was born on September 9, 1934 the daughter of Steve and Mary (Sarvreski) Krmpotich. She married Richard Ostrowski at St. Kevin Catholic Church on October 25, 1953. She was a Certified Nurses Assistant for many years and was a parishioner at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Manteno. Phyllis enjoyed coloring, cooking, doing the laundry, watching reality TV, and taking care of everyone. She especially enjoyed the time she spent with her grandchildren, great grandchildren, and family. She is survived by her 3 children; Linda Fink (Cathy Novak) of NC., Katherine (Thomas) Tomczak of Lockport, Julie (James) Seitz of Manteno, 2 sisters; Arlene Knezevich of Chicago, Janice Sanders of FL., a brother; Joseph Krmpotich of Chicago, 7 grandchildren; Janice Erskine of NC., Cindy (Andy) Orr of NC., Timothy (Katelyn) Tomczak of Manhattan, IL., Jennifer Harding of Manteno, Tabitha Harding (Billy Heimer) of Manteno, Ashley Seitz (Frank Golick) of Orland Park, Jason (Alexandra) Seitz of Manteno, 18 greatgrandchildren; Devin, Alex and Aiden Orr, Logan and Chase Erskin, Morgan Sharkey, Mya Ittersagen, Austin Thomas, Carl Jr. and Brady Anders, Carter McDonald, Christian and Ariel Arnold, Pyper, Remmi, and Karma Seitz, Hunter and Dakota Tomczak. She is preceded in death by her husband, Richard, parents, 3 siblings; Anthony Krmpotich, Steven Krmpotich, and Katherine Larka. A memorial service will be held on December 16, 2021 at St. Joseph Church in Manteno for family only. Memorial may be made to the wishes of the family. Brown-Jensen Funeral Home is handling the arrangements.
