Arthur E.Skoff, 75, of Custer Park, passed away Wednesday (Nov. 15, 2017) at his home. He was born Dec. 20, 1941, in Joliet, the son of Anthony and Irene Howe Skoff. Arthur married Peggy Bilyard on June 29, 1991, in Custer Park. He was a lineman for Local 9 for 44 years and a member of the Wilmington Moose. Arthur enjoyed fishing, camping, trips to Minnesota and spending time with his grandchildren. Surviving are his wife, of Custer Park; son and daughter-in-law, Mike and Maria Skoff, of New Lenox; daughters and sons-in-law, Kelly and Mike Nurczyk, of Joliet, and Michelle and John Mullikin, of Kankakee; stepdaughter, Rhonda and John Smith, of Manteno; stepson, Robert Larkins, of Manteno; grandchildren, Megan, Drew, Chris, Danny, Jacob, Amanda, Lindsey, Nick, Hannah, Logan, Zachary, Cody, Chase and Connor; great-grandchildren, Ava, Jacob, Carter, Rylee, Zaelynn, Layla, Dolton, Paige, Elaina and Sawyer; sister, Renee Keagle, of Minooka; brother-in-law, Jim Moats; and mother-in-law, Norma Bilyard. Preceding him in death were his parents; sisters, Maxine Schaffnit, Patsy Eyman and Diane Moats; brothers, Dick Skoff and Anthony Skoff Jr.; and father-in-law, Howard Bilyard. Visitation will be from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. on Sunday at Brown Funeral Home in Manteno. Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. on Monday, also at the funeral home, with the Rev. Dale Tolly officiating. Burial will be in Bloom Grove Cemetery in Manteno. Memorials may be made to 1st Presbyterian Church of Braidwood or Hospice of Kankakee Valley.
